The Rockchip RK3566 is a powerful yet energy-efficient quad-core processor, designed for personal mobile internet devices and AIoT equipment.
Many embedded powerful hardware engines are included to optimize performance for high-end applications. RK3566 supports nearly full-format H.264 decoding at 4K@60fps, H.265 decoding at 4K@60fps, as well as H.264 and H.265 encoding at 1080p@60fps, along with high-quality JPEG encoding and decoding.
The embedded 3D GPU ensures that RK3566 is fully compatible with OpenGL ES 1.1, 2.0, and 3.2, as well as OpenCL 2.0 and Vulkan 1.1. Additionally, a specialized 2D hardware engine optimizes display performance for smooth operation.
The built-in NPU supports hybrid operations with INT8, INT16, FP16, and BFP16 MACs. Additionally, thanks to its strong compatibility, network models created with frameworks such as TensorFlow, MXNet, PyTorch, and Caffe can be easily converted. RK3566 features a high-performance external memory interface (DDR3, DDR3L, DDR4, LPDDR3, LPDDR4, LPDDR4X) capable of handling demanding memory bandwidth requirements.
